Cannabidiol (CBD) is among 113 cannabinoids found with in a hemp plant.
CBD does not appear to have any intoxicating effects such as those caused by tetrahydrocannabinol (THC) in marijuana.
CBD has been shown to have many health benefits without causing the psychoactive “high” effects.
CBD can help with a variety of conditions such as anxiety, arthritis or joint pain, digestion issues, epileptic seizures, allergies, general pain, appetite regulation, inflammation, and more.
Research has shown that we have what’s called an Endocannabinoid System, which consists of many receptors located on cells all throughout the body.
This is where different cannabinoids like CBD interact with these receptors to cause different effects like regulating mood, appetite, reducing pain & inflammation.

No, CBD cannot be overdosed. CBD is a natural product, non-toxic and non-psychoactive. The World Health Organization has suggested that CBD is relatively safe to use.
However we recommend taking anywhere between 18mg and 75mg. We suggest using the minimum dosage and not take more than 10-15mg per day for the first week.

Your CBD experience will be unique to you, and because CBD adapts to each user, there is no standard response.
CBD does not get you high because it contains low amounts of THC, and it is popular to take before bed or as you wind down for the evening.
The way CBD affects us and how long it takes for us to feel its effects varies from person to person. We’ve discovered a few conditions that influence the body’s response to CBD. We will go over each of them briefly, but our main focus will be on how you consume CBD, or the delivery method.
Personal biological factors, your gender, weight, health, metabolism, and level of experience all have an impact on how you react to CBD and how long it takes to work.
CBD can be consumed in four ways, each with a different absorption rate:
Inhalation: This is the quickest method, and you will usually feel the effect in an instant. CBD can enter the bloodstream directly through the lungs if it is smoked or evaporated. The inhalation method is debatable.
Topical: In some cases, applying CBD to the skin or a specific area can produce immediate results. If you use CBD to treat stress and other issues, topical application may take longer and may not produce the desired results.
Sublingual application: Entails directly placing a tincture or spray under the tongue. Many people can feel the effect almost immediately, but it can take 15 to 60 minutes. This method is one of the preferred methods of using CBD. The reason for this is that there is a large network of capillaries (tiny blood vessels) under the tongue, which can aid in the rapid absorption of these compounds into the blood.
Oral: It takes about 90 minutes for CBD oil to work if you swallow capsules or consume edibles. Because it must move through the digestive tract before being absorbed into your bloodstream, this method takes more time than others. It takes longer to work but has a longer lifespan. CBD’s effect is sped up when taken on an empty stomach. Within a half-hour, you should be able to feel it. However, if you take CBD with food, especially large meals, it can take an hour or two to feel the effects. Athough oral administration takes the longest, it also has the longest duration. Oral CBD has a six-hour duration, whereas sublingual CBD has a four hour duration.
CBD is a safe, non-intoxicating substance that does not have addictive properties.
CBD contains low amounts of THC, which is responsible for the “high” feeling experienced with cannabis products.
